Building Blocks: Weatherford Puts the Pieces Together

On the OTC show floor, Weatherford International is building a 4-by-4-foot offshore drilling rig out of building blocks. Stop by the booth to watch the artist build the rig to scale.
An example of how Weatherford International helps to build "better wells through more efficient drilling and production techniques," the company is featuring an artist building an offshore rig out of Legos building blocks. New York, USA artist Nathan Sawaya will be building the offshore rig during the first three days of the conference.
To be completed on Wednesday, May 7 by 4 p.m., the rig will then be moved to a Houston training facility for display. Stop by booth #3317 to watch Sawaya put together the rig and to ask him questions about his craft.
