Capable of lifting up to 4,000 tons from the seafloor, Versabar's Bottom Feeder was decorated with the OTC 2008 Spotlight on New Technology Award.
Designed specifically for heavy-lift salvage work and built in a year, the Bottom Feeder has been able to remove numerous toppled platform topsides from the seafloor.

Retrieving topsides in a single lift, the Bottom Feeder combines four independent lift blocks to safely and effectively lift structures from the bottom of the sea, without having accurate weight measurements or seabed degrees.
With 44 patents, Versabar leads the market on heavy-lift solutions, as well as subsea lowering systems, umbilical and riser pull-ins, and subsea jumper bars.
