Winning the 2008 OTC Spotlight on New Technology Award for its Enhanced Vertical Deepwater Tree (EVDT), FMC Technologies continuously pushes the envelop in regard to subsea systems and technologies.
A slimbore subsea completion system that provides large bore system capabilities, the EVDT can accommodate 7-inch tubing completions and pressures up to 15,000 psi within a 13 5/8-inch blow out preventer (BOP) stack.

An economic and versatile subsea completion system, the EVDT eliminates the need for expensive rigs during completion by allowing ultra-deepwater completions to be performed from a small drilling rig that contains the surface BOP. Additionally, the tubing hanger can be installed using a tubing head, or it can land into the wellhead, eliminating the tubing head altogether.
FMC Technologies was recently named Fortune magazine's Most Admired Oil and Gas Equipment, Services Company. A leading manufacturer and supplier of subsea production systems, FMC Technologies also focuses on surface wellhead, fluid control, loading systems, measurement solutions and separation technologies.
